DESIGN
Designed by the Bertone Style Centre, the Alfa GT offers sleek and sophisticated styling. A new interpretation of the distinctive three-lobed Alfa motif is evident at the front. The shield is slightly larger and constitutes an imposing presence out of which the entire car appears to grow.
The result is very effective: combining aggression with an elegance of form. This impression is reinforced by two side air intakes and light clusters that are objects of beauty in their own right. 
The tail end of the Alfa GT is compact and slightly dipped and tapering with large built-in bumpers. The rear window is drop-shaped while the light clusters are embedded in the body. The tail also offers the right amount of balance and elegance with its strongly raked rear window and top-quality wraparound taillight design.
VERSATILITY
Alfa GT has the looks of a coupé but is, at the same time, a luxury saloon with surprisingly generous inside space and maximum comfort. Shaped to cater to different requirements and to adapt effortlessly and with great versatility to different driving, space and habitability requirements.
Elegant personality and deluxe comfort are reflected in the generous space available to the driver and passengers: five seats for refined roominess with a level of soundproofing that exalts the pleasure of driving in maximum silence. With Alfa GT, trip comfort soars to new heights, rewarding those seeking the emotions of sporty driving without having to compromise on comfort.
The sporting lines of the coupé and the elegant environs of the saloon hide an unexpected level of flexibility. A 320 dm3 luggage compartment is surprisingly large for a high performance sports car.

CONTROL & SATEFY
The Alfa GT has stability and control in its DNA: integrated double circuit hydraulic brakes together with the latest generation ABS and EBD brake force distribution. The VDC system (Vehicle Dynamic Control) brings the car back into line in the event of a loss of stability while ASR prevents wheel-spin and the MSR system helps to avoid skidding.
Absolute control is virtually guaranteed through the use of solutions derived directly from Formula 1, such as the high wishbone front suspension, which keeps the tires perpendicular to the ground, and manages combine the great stability typical of front-wheel drive with impeccable driving precision. The rear suspension, Alfa Romeo’s development of the McPherson system, perfectly complements the performance of the front system, guaranteeing stability at high speeds and agility on mixed surfaces.
The focal element of Alfa GT's unequalled safety is the torsional rigidity of the body shell, which helps to guarantee maximum stability and road holding. Around its progressive deformation body shell, Alfa GT features FPS (Fire Prevention System), seat belts with inertia reel and load limiter at the front and rear, fully collapsible, adjustable steering column, anti-intrusion bars in the doors and energy-absorbing internal trim.
The GT provides 6 standard airbags including two newly designed window bags that inflate more quickly. They open from the top down in order to protect the head of the front passenger. Passive safety is further enhanced by new Xenon headlights, which are almost twice as bright as normal halogen bulbs.
